Soren Löffler
Creative Director/ Owner
In June 2008, Sören Löffler, his wife Sheri and their team consisting of five stylists and two colorists opened Sören Salon in a brand new facility on Paces Ferry Place, in the heart of the Buckhead community in Atlanta. This is a goal Sören had set for himself already during his first job at a well-known hair salon near Frankfurt, Germany - while still in high school.

“I realized early on that one of the most exciting things about this profession is that you have the ability to make people look better and feel more beautiful,” says Sören. “It gives me great satisfaction to improve someone’s look – and outlook.”

After completing high school in 1989, Sören was accepted into a rigorous three-year program, combining an apprenticeship with formal classes. Both talented and dedicated, he graduated as one of the top three in the country and in 1993 was offered a position with Vidal Sassoon in Frankfurt. While there, he was named Germany’s “top stylist of the quarter” several times, and rose rapidly to the position of senior stylist.

In order to share his talents with other hairstyle professionals, Sören enrolled in various Vidal Sassoon instructor training programs in Hamburg, Munich and London. In 1997, he moved to Chicago, where he was promoted to assistant creative director within the Vidal Sassoon organization. In addition to finding professional success in Chicago, he also met his wife, Sheri, there.

After three years, both of them were transferred to Atlanta to co-manage the Vidal Sassoon salon at Lenox Square, where Sören was promoted to creative director. In 2005, he accepted a position as the creative director for DASS Salon and Spa, also at Lenox Square. “I continually train myself to stay ahead of the current trends,” Sören states. “I find that my extensive travels throughout Europe as well as my wide circle of friends contribute to my ability to continue to come up with that perfect look for my many different customers.”
