Sören Löffler
Creative Director/Owner

In June 2008, Sören Löffler, his wife Sheri and their team consisting of five stylists and two colorists opened Sören Salon in a brand new facility on Paces Ferry Place, in the heart of the Buckhead community in Atlanta. This is a goal Sören had set for himself already during his first job at a well-known hair salon near Frankfurt, Germany - while still in high school.

“I realized early on that one of the most exciting things about this profession is that you have the ability to make people look better and feel more beautiful,” says Sören. “It gives me great satisfaction to improve someone’s look – and outlook.”

After completing high school in 1989, Sören was accepted into a rigorous three-year program, combining an apprenticeship with formal classes. Both talented and dedicated, he graduated as one of the top three in the country and in 1993 was offered a position with Vidal Sassoon in Frankfurt. While there, he was named Germany’s “top stylist of the quarter” several times, and rose rapidly to the position of senior stylist.

In order to share his talents with other hairstyle professionals, Sören enrolled in various Vidal Sassoon instructor training programs in Hamburg, Munich and London. In 1997, he moved to Chicago, where he was promoted to assistant creative director within the Vidal Sassoon organization. In addition to finding professional success in Chicago, he also met his wife, Sheri, there.

After three years, both of them were transferred to Atlanta to co-manage the Vidal Sassoon salon at Lenox Square, where Sören was promoted to creative director. In 2005, he accepted a position as the creative director for DASS Salon and Spa, also at Lenox Square. “I continually train myself to stay ahead of the current trends,” Sören states. “I find that my extensive travels throughout Europe as well as my wide circle of friends contribute to my ability to continue to come up with that perfect look for my many different customers.”

Sheri Löffler
Head of Department/ Co-Owner

Sheri Löffler started her career in the beauty industry as an apprentice with Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco in 1992. The company’s management quickly recognized her talent and invited her to train at their London flagship salon, where she was taught the art and science of hair color by world-renowned hair colorists. “This is where I developed my unique sense of color inspiration and truly perfected my craft as a color specialist,” according to Sheri.

She then moved to the Vidal Sassoon salon in Chicago, where she was promoted to Color Director. Her exquisite work stood out in this competitive market, and she was continuously asked to participate in exciting projects, such as doing Ms. Puerto Rico’s hair at a photo shoot in Puerto Rico and traveling to Hong Kong to prepare models there. Sheri worked at trade shows and professional hair care events throughout the world to educate other stylists and to launch new color techniques, and appeared on television with makeover advice. During this time, she also trained students to become Vidal Sassoon colorists, and colorists to become Color Directors.

In 2000, she and her husband Sören moved to Atlanta, where she accepted a position as Manager of Vidal Sassoon’s Atlanta Salon. Recently, Sheri and Sören opened Sören’s Salon on Paces Ferry Place in the heart of Buckhead.

“I specialize in color and perms only,” notes Sheri. “I love doing creative color – but what is even more gratifying is to work with each individual client to create the best look for their lifestyle, face shape and overall look.”
